The 50th Annual Belsnickel Craft Show supports the educational, historical, genealogical research and preservation activities of the Boyertown Historical Society. This event is closely juried, showcasing only handcrafted artisan work with no commercially or mass-produced items. The Belsnickel Craft Show was named for the Pennsylvania German folk  character who traveled to  farms and visited the  children at Christmas time. Good children were rewarded with candy and oranges.  Naughty children received a sharp crack on the hand from the Belsnickel’s switch.

The Friends of Pennypacker Mills verifies each crafter’s products to ensure each is hand crafted.   In order to serve a large audience (over 1400 people!), there is a variety of craft styles and prices. From stocking stuffers to elegant jewelry and gifts, our Craft Marketplace is sure to please ​many shoppers. Last year, there were 100 crafters attending the event, giving a wide range of products, and this event continues to grow! All proceeds go to benefit the Friends of Pennypacker Mills. The Rotary Club of Lititz Craft Show was launched in 1979 with only local vendors setting up on a single block along E. Main Street in Lititz.   Now it has grown into one of the top craft shows on the east coast, drawing 700 crafters from throughout the United States and Canada.  The craft show, always held the second Saturday in August, draws upwards to 50,000 people and is held along the first four blocks of  E. Main Street, along three blocks of Broad Street and in Lititz Springs Park. You may want to try parking at Warwick High School or Linden Hall School for Girls, off of Locust Street.
